FUJIFILM X-E5 priced in PH: 40MP sensor, 7-stop IBIS, 6.2K video recording, and starts at PHP 91,990

FUJIFILM has revealed the Philippine pricing for the highly anticipated successor to its popular X-E line of mirrorless cameras.

Compact powerhouse mirrorless camera

The new X-E5 combines the compact and analog-inspired design of the popular X100VI and the versatility of interchangeable lenses. FUJIFILM has upgraded the material of construction to an Aluminum top plate. The camera measures 4.9 x 2.9 x 1.5 inches and weighs 445 grams with the battery. It comes in either Black or Silver colorways.

Inside the new mirrorless is the 40.2MP APS-C X-Trans 5 HR CMOS sensor and the X-Processor 5 imaging sensor that make it capable of capturing 14-bit RAW with resolutions up to 7,728 x 5,152 at up to 20fps (with a 1.29x crop). It comes with 5-axis In-body image stabilization and has a native ISO of 125 to 12,800 (that can be extended to 64 to 51,200). It can also capture 6.2K at 30fps, 4:2:2 10-bit video via HDMI.

The files are saved to a UHS-II SD Card. The camera has multiple connectivity options such as a microHDMI port, a 1/8-inch 3.5mm TRS Stereo Microphone Input, and a USB-C port. Wirelessly, the camera connects via WiFi 5 and Bluetooth 4.2.

At the back of the camera is the 0.39-inch 2.36 million dot OLED EVF with 0.62x magnification. Below is the 3-inch 1.04 million dot 3-way tilting Touch screen LCD.

The camera is powered by the 1,260mAh NP-W126S Lithium-Ion battery that is rated for 310 shots per charge.

A new addition to the X-E series is the FUJIFILM Simulation dial which was originally launched with the FUJIFILM X-T50. But in this iteration, it is under the top plate and is visible through a glass window that is reminiscent of a FILM frame counter from older film cameras.

The camera can now be pre-ordered today until August 1, 2025, at any FUJIFILM authorized distributor and stores nationwide. The camera is expected to arrive in stores this August 2025.
