HONOR Watch 5 Ultra unveiled: Titanium body, ECG, and 15-days battery life

Apart from Magic V5 and Magic Pad 3, HONOR also introduced Watch 5 Ultra as its flagship smartwatch.

Premium and durable wearable

The new wearable boasts aerospace-grade titanium alloy and equipped with next-generation health and AI capabilities. 

The Watch 5 Ultra features is available in three color variants—Brown Leather, Titanium, and Black Fluoroelastomer. All three are designed to balance durability with a premium aesthetic.

Its octagonal frame, inspired by spacecraft portholes, adds to both its ruggedness and visual appeal.

Notably, it is the first smartwatch to achieve a five-star reliability certification from SGS for shock, corrosion, and scratch resistance.

In front, the device sports a 1.5-inch circular AMOLED display with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels and a 310 PPI pixel density. The screen is protected by sapphire crystal glass with Mohs 9 hardness, enhancing scratch resistance while maintaining visibility in bright sunlight. 

The Watch 5 Ultra includes a comprehensive sensor suite, featuring ECG, heart rate monitoring, accelerometer, gyroscope, barometer, ambient light, and geomagnetic sensors. Key health functions include sudden cardiac arrest screening, China-PAR cardiovascular risk assessment, and autonomic nervous system monitoring.

With 105 sports modes, the watch supports activities ranging from bungee jumping to gateball. It also offers a professional 40-meter freediving mode, certified under EN13319 standards, and carries 5ATM and IP68 ratings for water resistance.

Battery performance varies by usage, delivering up to 15 days without eSIM, 10 days when paired with an HONOR phone via eSIM, and 3 days in standalone eSIM mode. The Watch 5 Ultra also supports wireless charging for added convenience.

The device supports Bluetooth 5.2 and NFC for contactless payments and transit access, along with compatibility with five satellite positioning systems (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, and QZSS).

Powered by MagicOS, HONOR’s proprietary platform, the watch incorporates DeepSeek large AI model support and a Tri-Chip Smart Control system for optimized performance and power efficiency. The built-in YOYO AI assistant provides real-time responses, health insights, and smart reminders.

It is currently being sold in China only. No word yet if it will come to the Philippines.
