New competitor for gaming tablet soon in PH?

We were invited to the launch of Gen 10 Yoga and Legion laptops. But at the last slide of the presentation, Lenovo briefly dropped a teaser of its gaming tablet.

This gives us a hint of the Legion tablet going official in the Philippines soon. The said device has been available only outside the country and can only be accessed via 3rd party dealers.

Still, the brand did not reveal any details or which model they teased during the presentation.

Judging from its back design, there are two models that have similar looks thanks to the massive Legion logo.

Legion Tab 2025

The first unit might be the Legion Tab 2025 with an 8.8-inch LCD (IPS) panel, 2560 x 1600 resolution, 165Hz refresh rate, 98 percent DCI-P3 color gamut, and 500 nits peak brightness.

Inside, it sports a 3.3GHz 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 8-core chip with Adreno GPU, 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, 256GB UFS 4.0 storage, 6,550mAh battery, and 45W charging.

The other model could be the Legion Y700 2026 with nearly similar details, but comes with a sharper display as it uses 3K resolution. Another difference is the stronger Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and larger 7,600mAh battery.

Any of the two would be welcomed by avid mobile gamers here in the Philippines.

Finally, the brand did mention when it will go official in the country as of the moment. But we will let you know once we hear from Lenovo.

What do you guys think?
