Track train updates via your browser

Want to catch the next MRT train? You can check out what time it arrives via the Rush PH web app.

Developed by Filipino engineer Joshua Bumanlag, Rush PH aims to provide commuters, especially those who use any of the railway lines in Metro Manila, with real-time updates about train status.

The goal was to build something useful for people like me who just want to get somewhere, faster, Bumanlag said.

Accessible via browser, Rush PH tells the time when the next train arrives, both northbound and southbound. It functions just like how train apps work in other countries like Singapore and South Korea.

For instance, if you wanted to check the status in MRT-3's Ortigas station, you can just search it on the website, and then the information about the next train will appear.

To use the website:

  • Visit https://rush-ph.com/
  • Select the train line you will use.
  • Search for the station name in the search bar
  • The latest information gathered will be displayed below the page

You do not have to create an account to use the search function.

There is also a Map tab on the website displaying all stations of MRT-3, LRT-1, and LRT-2.

The website uses information from reports from commuters. To contribute:

  • Create an account
  • Select a line, station, and direction
  • Select the train status (on-time, delayed, or cancelled)
  • Select the crowd level (empty, moderate, crowded, or packed)
  • Select submit report

We encountered a slight error when we tried creating an account, but when we tried logging in, it still pushed through.

Bumanlag said he has considered making Rush PH into an app, but he will stick to a web app for now to make it accessible for everyone.
