Redmi Note 15 Pro and 15 Pro+ launched: Dimensity 7400 Ultra, SD 7s Gen 4, and 7,000mAh batteries

Apart from the Redmi Note 15, Xiaomi also introduced the Redmi Note 15 Pro and 15 Pro+ variants.

Improved durability and longer battery life

These devices highlight drop resistance, waterproofing, and extended battery life, while targeting slightly different performance and imaging requirements.

The brand says these phones feature an ultra-tough fiberglass back panel and even passed a 2-meter granite drop test, earning dual 5-star protection certifications. Furthermore, they have quad IP ratings of IP66/IP68/IP69/IP69K for dust and water resistance and protection from high-pressure water jets.

The smartphones feature a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K 2772 x 1280 pixels resolution, 120Hz refresh, and 3,200 nits peak brightness. 480Hz touch sampling rate, 3840Hz PWM dimming and DCI-P3 color gamut. Additionally, the screens are protected by Xiaomi Dragon Crystal Glass.

Redmi Note 15 Pro+ features

Inside, the Redmi Note 15 Pro is equipped with the 2.6GHz 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra processor with Mali-G615 MC2 GPU. 

The Pro+ model debuts the recently announced 2.7GHz 4nm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, paired with Adreno GPU, making it the first device to use the SoC. 

Furthermore, the Pro+ model incorporates a Pascal T1S chip, which is stated to improve WiFi and Bluetooth speeds by up to 26 percent and enhance GPS precision. 

Both also include an advanced Ice-Sealed Circulating Cooling Pump and a large graphite area for thermal management.

The chips are also paired with 8GB/12GB/16GB RAM and 256GB/512GB storage options.

Each model contains a 7,000mAh battery, the largest in the series. The Pro supports USB-C 45W wired charging, while the Pro+ supports 90W wired charging. Both devices also offer 22.5W wired reverse charging.

The Redmi Note 15 Pro uses a triple rear camera system consisting of a 50MP f/1.6 Sony LYT-600 primary sensor with OIS + 8MP ultra-wide lens + 2MP macro camera. It has a 20MP front camera. 

The Pro+ model features a 50MP Light Fusion 800 primary sensor with OIS + 50MP telephoto lens with 2.5x zoom + 8MP ultra-wide camera, along with a 32MP front camera. 

Both phones also support 4K video recording and AI-powered features such as Magic Eraser and AI Portrait.

The audio system includes symmetrical dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res audio support.

Connectivity options include WiFi6,  5G SA/NSA, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and improved GPS. A separate Note 15 Pro+ Satellite Messaging Edition supports Beidou satellite messaging for two-way texts and one-click emergency SMS without a cellular network.

Both phones run HyperOS 2, based on Android 15, which includes AI-driven photography enhancements, multitasking features, and Wet Touch 2.0 functionality for use with wet screens.
