Video streaming has become more affordable

This partnership with the country's leading streaming platforms aims to make it possible for more Filipinos without access to Fiber or Starlink internet connections to experience the best in local entertainment, wherever and whenever.

Smart subscribers can also conveniently access and stream content using Direct Carrier Billing (DCB), which instantly charges subscriptions to these platforms using their prepaid load or postpaid bill. This Payment method opens the door to Premium Entertainment for millions of Filipinos who may not have a bank account, credit card, or e-wallet.

The collaboration includes plans to introduce innovative data packages designed specifically for streaming. Additionally, Smart will explore opportunities with each partner to offer exclusive content available only to Smart subscribers.

Cignal Play is a video-on-demand service that offers over 80 live channels and over 1,000 hours of movies and series. It recently launched microdramas, featuring short-form vertical dramas that subscribers can enjoy for as low as PHP 20 per day.

Viva One is a subscription-based video streaming service by Viva Communications, featuring local and international content, including original series under Viva One Originals. A Viva One subscription starts at PHP 99 per month.

Users can enjoy a subscription-like viewing experience at affordable prices for as low as PHP 5.00. This PHP 5.00 package gives users access to video for up to 90 minutes non-stop.
