ASUS launches ExpertBook P1, P3, and P5 laptops in PH: Co-Pilot equipped, MIL-STD-810H certified, starts at PHP 42,995

ASUS officially launches its latest generation P-series of ExpertBook laptops in the Philippines with performance, reliability, and durability in mind.

AI-enhanced laptops with Military Grade durability!

ASUS says that the ExpertBook series emphasizes AI integration through features such as ASUS AI ExpertMeet (which handles real-time translation, transcription, and meeting summaries), military-grade durability (MIL-STD-810H certification), spill-resistant keyboards, and advanced security measures, including TPM 2.0 chips and a complimentary 1-year McAfee+ Premium subscription.

ASUS ExpertBook P1 15.6-inch variant

Up first is the ASUS ExpertBook P1 Series (P1403 and P1503). Designed for the budget-conscious professionals seeking essential performance without compromises. It is available in 14 and 15.6-inch variants. It is said to blend portability with practical features, making it ideal for small business owners, freelancers, and remote workers in the Philippines. 

It is constructed with lightweight Aluminum and passed 24 military-grade tests, including 50,000 hinge cycles, 120cm drop tests, and 120kg pressure resistance. It measures 32.45 x 21.44 x 1.97mm (14-inch)/35.95 x 23.22 x 1.99mm (15.6-inch) and weighs 1.4kg (14-inch)/1.6kg (16-inch).

The ExpertBook P1 comes with a 14-inch or 15.6-inch Full HD 1920 x 1080 screen (choice between Anti-Glare IPS or a TN panel) with up to 300 nits brightness. Inside are specifications up to an Intel Core i7-13700H 14-core processor, up to 64GB of DDR5 5200 MHz RAM, 256GB/512GB/1TB M.2 PCIe 4.0 Value SSD, and up to a 63Wh high-capacity Li-Polymer Battery with 65W charging via a USB Type-C Adapter. It has 2 USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C ports, 2 USB Type-A 3.2 Gen1 ports, an HDMI 1.4b, a 3.5mm combo audio jack, a Kensington Nano lock slot, and an RJ45 (Ethernet port). Running the show is Windows 11 Home or 11 Pro and comes with ASUS AI ExperMeet and MyASUS. 

ASUS ExpertBook P3's durable body

Next is the ASUS ExpertBook P3 Series (P3405 and P3605). It is designed for mid-level professionals and entrepreneurs, featuring a full-metal design and advanced AI capabilities. The sleek Aluminum body comes in only one Misty Grey colorway. The P3 weighs 1.36kg (14-inch)/1.75kg (16-inch). Like the P1 series, the P3 series passed 24 military grade tests, including 50,000 hinge cycles, 120cm drops, 120kg pressure, and it is resistance to spills.

It features a 14-inch or 16-inch anti-glare IPS screen with a  1920 x 1200 resolution with a 16:10 aspect ratio. Inside are up to an Intel Core i7-13620H 10-core processor, up to 64GB 5200MHz DDR5 RAM, up to 3TB PCIe Gen4 SSD, and a 63Wh battery with 65W USB-C fast charging. It has 2 USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C, 2 USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A, an HDMI 2.1, an RJ45 (ethernet) port, a 3.5mm combo audio jack, and a Kensington Nano lock.

Running the show is Windows 11 Pro and comes with the ASUS AI ExpertMeet and MyASUS suite. 

ASUS ExpertBook P5

Last up is the ASUS ExpertBook P5. The brand is claiming that the P5 sets the benchmark for AI-accelerated productivity. It is advertised as up to 3x AI performance with features like AI Meeting Minutes, translated subtitles, noise cancellation, and watermarks for secure video calls. It features an aluminum body that weighs 1.27kg.

The ExpertBook P5 has a 14-inch Anti-Glare IPS with a 2560 x 1600 resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and up to 400 nits peak brightness. Inside is the Intel Core 7 processor with Intel AI Boost NPU, up to 32GB LPDDR5X 8533MHz RAM, 512GB/1TB M.2 PCIe 4.0 SSD, upgradeable to 2TB, and a 63Wh high-capacity Li-Polymer battery with 65W USB Type-C charging.

It features 2 Thunderbolt 4 ports, a USB Type-A 3.2 Gen 2 with BC1.2, a USB Type-A 3.2 Gen 2, an HDMI 2.1 port, a 3.5mm audio combo jack, and a Kensington Nano lock slot. 

Running the show for the ExpertBook P5 are either Windows 11 Home or Windows 11 Pro with the inclusion of ASUS AI ExpertMeet and MyASUS suite.

All models come with 3 years of on-site service and 1 Year Accidental Damage protection and features enhanced security features such as the TPM2.0 chip, fingerprint scanner, and a 1-year McAfee+ Premium Subscription.
