MERCUSYS has launched two new smart cameras, the MC210 for indoor use and the MC500 for outdoor use.

Affordable smart outdoor and home cameras

The cameras are presented as a security solution for a range of users, including parents, property owners, and small business operators.

These devices operate on 2.4GHz WiFi and are designed for easy setup. They offer a wire-free design for flexible placement and provide 360-degree coverage to minimize blind spots. Both models feature AI-powered detection designed to distinguish between people and general motion to reduce false alerts.

MERCUSYS MC500 for outdoor

Through the MERCUSYS app, users can access real-time footage and use two-way audio. The cameras are also compatible with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa for voice control. 

Users can set up customizable block zones to exclude certain areas from monitoring. The MC500 model includes a physical lens cover for privacy.

The MC210

For storage, footage can be saved locally on a microSD card of up to 512GB or through a cloud backup service called MERCUSYS Camera Care.

MC210 Indoor Camera Details

MERCUSYS MC210 for indoor use

The indoor MC210 camera records in 2K resolution with a 30 FPS frame rate. It includes infrared night vision with a range of up to 40 feet and a feature that sends alerts when a baby's cry is detected.

MC500 Outdoor Camera Details

The outdoor MC500 camera records in 1080p HD. It offers both color and infrared night vision and has an IP65 rating, meaning it is built to withstand dust and water jets. It also includes a built-in light and siren alarm to deter intruders.
