The 1st realme phone with Ricoh GR collab
The standard realme GT8 features three color selections: Classic White, Navy Blue, and Oxygen Green, each with a distinct finish.
The Classic White model uses AG frosted glass designed to resist fingerprints, while the Navy Blue variant features light-shifting frosted glass that creates a subtle shimmer. The Oxygen Green edition is finished with a paper-like, recycled leather back.
Additionally, it also features a triple IP rating, such as IP66/68/69 for dust and water resistance.
In front, the phone uses a 6.79-inch 2K BOE Q10+ OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of whopping 7,000 nits.
Powering the device is the 4.32GHz 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, paired with 12GB/16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB/512GB/1TB UFS 4.0 storage. A dedicated R1 graphics chip is included for gaming performance, supported by a 7000mm² vapor chamber cooling system.
It also gets a massive 7,000mAh battery with USB-C 100W SUPERVOOC charging. realme states its "Titan" battery utilizes 15 percent silicon content for improved longevity.

For cameras, the realme GT8 uses a 50MP f/1.8 1.1.56-inch sensor with OIS, and a Ricoh GR anti-glare lens. The latter uses a 7P high-lens array and five layers of ultra-low reflection coating, thus achieving better output on your images.
The main camera is also paired with an 8MP ultra-wide sensor and a 50MP periscope sensor with 3.5x optical zoom. For selfies, it uses a 16MP front camera.
Furthermore, the phone also features five distinct Ricoh GR film times, customizable focal lengths at 28mm and 40mm, and even unique GR-style shutter sounds.
The phone also boasts 2x 1115E symmetrical speakers, N'Bass bass augmentation, full-cavity structure, and a booming sound field. It also uses a 4D vibration motor for an immersive feel on compatible games.

Connectivity features are WiFi 7, 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 6.0, GPS, NFC, and dual SIM.
For OS, it runs on Android 16 with realme UI 7.0 skin on top.

The phone is currently available in China only. Meanwhile, realme has confirmed a global release, although it did not specify the exact date. We will update you once we hear from realme.
