Beginner musicians get access to professional-grade functionality

The Bandbox series features the new Stem AI Technology, an on-device, real-time vocal and instrument separation (no internet connection required) allows musicians to instantly isolate or remove elements such as vocals, guitars, or drums from any track. This effectively creates custom backing tracks on the fly, enabling guitarists to replace a song's guitar part or singers to practice without vocals. This was something previously requiring complex software or pre-prepared tracks. This feature is like having a personal sound engineer in your speaker to make practices more dynamic and tailored.

Built into the Bandbox Solo and Trio are the tuner, metronome, looper, and drum machine to streamline practice set-ups. This means musicians no longer need multiple devices or pedals, and it reduces clutter and costs.

Users also gain access to vintage/modern amp models and effects (such as phaser, chorus, reverb, delay) via the on-device controls of the Trio and via the JBL ONE app for the Solo. This saves costs and simplifies the setup, letting musicians be free to experiment with professional-grade tones without a full rig.

Both models can seamlessly integrate via USB-C output for direct DAW recording and Bluetooth streaming, which makes the Bandbox a hub for both practice and production.

The Bandbox Solo features an 18W RMS with a full-range acoustic design in a compact on-the-go form factor and an integrated LED pixel screen for intuitive control of tools, amp models, and effects. Its internal battery is rated for up to 6 hours of playtime.

The Bandbox Trio features a 135W output power via its 6.5-inch woofer and its two 2/5-inch tweeters. Built into the Trio is a 4-channel mixer for balancing levels and shaping tone directly on the device. It has an integrated color LCD screen for quick access to controls and settings. Its internal JBL Battery 400 battery is rated for up to 10 hours of playtime and is replaceable. Beside the screen are the physical controls for tactile command over settings, which should reduce the resilience to the app.
