F1-inspired design from realme?
A week ago, we reported the possibility of a limited edition realme GT8 Pro in collaboration with Aston Martin. Now in China, the smartphone has become official.
The new realme GT8 Pro Aston Martin F1 Limited edition phone is said to be in a collector's item design, including two Aston Martin F1 Limited Edition Deco-design (square and round) camera module decoration and two corresponding custom phone cases with square and round camera module holes. The SIM ejector tool is custom-designed and is inspired by the Aston Martin wings logo.
Pre-installed into the phone are a deeply customized racing-themed UI and an exclusive watermark.

The aforementioned custom camera module decoration comes in a carbon fiber-textured finish with a mechanical assembly design. It comes in the unique lemon color scheme that pays homage to the F1 team's color scheme. It also has the iconic silver wing logo of the F1 team.
The brand is claiming that the phone's aerodynamic curves and added concave process transition help make the phone easier to grip. The phone comes in a one-piece metal frame and a glass back cover that are both in the racing cyan metallic colorway.
In front is the 6.79-inch OLED screen with a 3,136 x 1,440 resolution, a 7,000 nits peak brightness, a 144Hz refresh rate, a 3,200Hz instant touch sampling rate, and hardware-level DC dimming. It covers 100 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut, and it supports Dolby Vision. Under the display is the ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
Inside is the 3nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 octa-core processor, Adreno 840 GPU, 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, 1TB UFS 4.1 storage, and a 7,000mAh battery with 100W fast wired charging via USB-C and 50W wireless fast charging.
At the back is the 50MP f/1.8 Ricoh GR anti-glare main camera with a 1/1.56-inch sensor and OIS, a 50MP f/2.0 116-degree ultra-wide angle camera, and a 200MP f/2.6 3x Periscope Telephoto camera with a 1/1.4-inch Samsung HP5 sensor and an LED flash. The Periscope camera supports 6x lossless zoom and up to 120x hybrid zoom.
In front is the 32MP f/2.4 selfie camera.
Other features include IP66 + IP68 + IP69 dust and water resistance rating, stereo speakers, Hi-Res audio, 5G, Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, Beidou, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, NFC, dual NanoSIM, and USB-C.
Lastly, it is running on Android 16-based realme UI 7.0.
