Campus playfest concludes with winners

realme participated as the official smartphone partner in the Campus Playfest, organized by the Collegiate Center for Esports, for a second consecutive year. The event was held at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall.

At the brand's experiential booth, guests Sharlene San Pedro and Doc Z joined attendees for interactive games and a raffle with prizes including realme Buds T310 and the realme C85 5G smartphone.

Both creators later participated in a Call of Duty: Mobile exhibition match, playing alongside members of the realme Community. Doc Z’s team won the best-of-three series with a 2-0 score.

The event served as the conclusion to realme’s ambassador search campaign. Eli Ruivivar and Dale Bascara were introduced as the brand’s new ambassadors. realme IMC Lead Patty Gonzales presented each with a cash prize of PHP 50,000 and a one-year contract.

The festival also featured musical performances by Ena Mori, One Click Straight, and Letters from June.

The Campus Playfest culminated in the PCC National League Grand Finals for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. The NU Bulldogs team defeated DXRV Esports with a 3-1 score to become champions, earning a prize of PHP 100,000.

Contenders used the highlighted device, called the realme 15 Pro 5G, during the finals. Player Estacio was named the realme Finals MVP and received a realme 15T 5G smartphone.

To recap, the realme 15 Pro 5G features a 6.8-inch 4D curved OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and crisp 1.5K resolution, a 2.8GHz Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 octa-core processor, and an Adreno GPU.

It is paired with 12GB RAM, 512GB storage, 7,000mAh battery paired with an 80W USB-C SUPERVOOC charger.

realme 15 Pro 5G also features 50MP Sony IMX896 with OIS main camera + 50MP ultra-wide + AI Maglic Glow 2.0 flash. For selfies, it shoots with a 50MP camera.

realme indicated future support for the local esports scene through upcoming tournaments like the realme Regional Wars and the realme Mobile Legends Cup.

The realme C85

On the other hand, the company also promoted the realme C85 5G. This phone features a large 6.8-inch HD+ LCD screen with a 144Hz refresh rate, 2.4GHz 6nm Dimensity 6300 processor with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, 8GB/256GB storage, 7,000mAh battery with 45W USB-C SUPERVOOC.

For cameras, the C85 5G uses a 50MP Sony IMX852 + depth helper and an 8MP selfie shooter.
