Apple Creator Studio launches in PH, All-in-one creator subscription starting at PHP 399/month

Apple has announced Apple Creator Studio, a collection of creative applications intended to provide advanced creative tools across its devices.

Unified Creator apps

The suite builds on the company's existing professional and productivity apps, integrating them into a single subscription. The included apps for video editing, music production, image editing, and document creation are described as offering features for a range of creative work.

Final Cut Pro introduces new video editing tools for Mac and iPad aimed at improving workflow efficiency. 

Pixelmator Pro on iPad

Pixelmator Pro is being made available on iPad for the first time, with an interface designed for touch and Apple Pencil. Logic Pro for Mac and iPad adds features such as Synth Player and Chord ID. Keynote, Pages, Numbers, and the upcoming Freeform also receive new premium content and features for subscribers.

It provides access to Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, and Pixelmator Pro on Mac and iPad; Motion, Compressor, and MainStage on Mac; and additional features for Keynote, Pages, Numbers, and Freeform.

Video editing updates

Final Cut Pro for Mac and iPad adds several AI-assisted features. Transcript Search allows users to find audio clips by typing phrases. Visual Search enables finding clips by searching for objects or actions. 

Seamless video editing

Beat Detection analyzes music tracks to display a beat grid in the timeline. A new Montage Maker feature on iPad uses AI to assemble a preliminary edit from selected footage. The subscription also includes full access to Motion for motion graphics and Compressor for export settings.

Music production updates

Logic Pro for Mac and iPad introduces Synth Player, an AI-powered instrument for generating electronic music parts. The Chord ID feature analyzes audio or MIDI recordings to generate a chord track. A new Sound Library adds royalty-free loops and samples. Logic Pro for iPad gains the Quick Swipe Comping feature and natural language search for loops. MainStage, included in the suite, is designed for live performance.

Designed for touch and Apple Pencil

Image editing updates

Pixelmator Pro is now part of the suite and is being released for iPad for the first time. The iPad version is designed for touch and Apple Pencil, with a layers sidebar, selection tools, and features like Super Resolution and Deband. A new Warp tool for twisting layers is included for subscribers on both Mac and iPad.

Productivity app updates

For Keynote, Pages, Numbers, and Freeform, Apple Creator Studio subscribers gain access to a new Content Hub with curated photos and graphics, as well as premium templates. Features in beta for Keynote include generating presentation drafts from an outline and creating speaker notes. Numbers gains a Magic Fill feature for generating formulas. These core apps will remain free to create and edit, and will receive updates, including a new visual design.
