vivo X200T with telephoto and ZEISS optics is coming soon

The X300 Series has been out for quite a while, but it appears that vivo is not yet done with the X200 line.

At Flipkart, the company has started teasing the X200T, a camera-focused smartphone that will be revealed on January 16.

The vivo X200T even comes with a telephoto sensor

The teaser showed that the phone will come with the usual circular camera island with ZEISS camera branding and the flash at the upper right corner. The island reveals all camera sensors of the phone, which include a periscope zoom lens for long-range shots that produce usable images even at night.

The teaser also revealed that the device will run with OriginOS out of the box.

According to recent rumors, the phone features an IP68/69 dust and water resistance, a 6.67-inch 120Hz 1.5K AMOLED screen, an ultrasonic In-Display fingerprint sensor, a Dimensity 9400+ SoC, and a 6,200mAh battery with USB-C 90W fast charging and 40W wireless charging.

In the camera department, the phone is suspected to feature a 50MP Sony LYT-702 main shooter with OIS + 50MP Samsung JN1 ultra-wide + 50MP Sony LYT-600 periscope lens.

For selfies, it will use a 32MP snapper.

It is also expected to come with WiFi 7, eSIM support, and run with Android 16 OS with OriginOS 6 skin on top, with up to 5 years of major Android OS upgrades and 7 years of security updates.

There is no info on whether it will be released outside of India yet.
