itel A100 launched: OnePlus 15 design, military-grade durability, budget price tag

Transsion Holdings's ultra budget brand itel launched a new smartphone in India called the A100. AND, this phone has a very familiar design.

In particular, the back cover of this handset is undeniably very similar to the high-end OPPO OnePlus 15, from the camera island to its placement. It is 8.49mm thick and the available colors are Titanium Gold, Silk Green, and Pure Black.

The good thing? Despite being tagged as a budget smartphone, this handset was equipped with Military-Grade Durability (MIL-STD-810H), protecting it against drops and shocks.

In front, the phone features a large enough 6.6-inch HD+ screen with 90Hz refresh rate and a waterdrop notch for its 5MP selfie camera.

Inside, it runs with the 2.2GHz 28nm UNISOC T7100 octa-core processor with PowerVR GE8322 graphics paired with 3GB or 4GB RAM (5GB or 8GB virtual RAM expansion), 64GB expandable storage, and a 5,000mAh battery capacity with USB-C 10W charging.

The device also has an 8MP back camera, side-mounted fingerprint reader, speaker with DTS audio, IR Remote, UltraLink (free calls via BT), and is powered by the lightweight Android 15 (Go edition).
