HUAWEI launches Mate 80 Pro Max Wind Edition—yes, it has a built-in fan

Chinese tech giant HUAWEI earlier introduced the Mate 80 Pro Max Wind Edition.

Mate 80 Pro Max variant with built-in fan

As the name suggests, it adds a built-in fan inside the camera module to dissipate heat better than ever. That makes its circular bump larger than the standard Mate 80 Pro Max.

But it has added over 1,200 ventilation holes in the lower half of the camera bump, and there are thermal bending fins inside that help guide airflow more efficiently.

The fan also adjusts depending on what the user is doing. If the task is more demanding, like gaming, the spin is faster. When the user does light tasks, the spin is slower and quieter.

For specs, it is similar to the standard Mate 80 Pro Max.
