Samsung adds AirDrop Support to Quick Share on Galaxy S26 Series

Samsung Galaxy S26 Series users can now seamlessly share files to Apple devices with the latest update on Quick Share.

In a press release, Samsung has introduced AirDrop support to its Quick Share feature on the Galaxy S26 series, enabling cross-platform file sharing between Samsung devices and Apple devices.

The functionality is scheduled to begin rolling out on March 23, starting in Korea, with a subsequent expansion to additional markets, including Europe, Hong Kong, Japan, Latin America, North America, Southeast Asia, and Taiwan. Initial availability will be limited to the Galaxy S26 series, with plans to extend support to other devices to be announced at a later date.

Finally, Samsung says availability and timing may vary by region.
