OnePlus Nord 6 launched: Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, 165Hz 1.5K AMOLED, and 50MP Sony LYTIA-600 sensor

The Nord 6 is constructed with what OnePlus describes as a minimalist design with sharp edges. It features Crystal Guard Glass on the front, positioned as a competitor to Gorilla Glass Victus+. It measures 162.5 x 77.5 x 8.5cm and weighs 217 grams.

The phone is IP66 + IP68 + IP69 + IP69K dust and water resistance rated. It is also MIL-STD-810H military-grade standard certified. 

In front is the 6.78-inch Sunburst AMOLED screen with a 2,772 x 1,272 resolution, a 3,600 nits peak brightness, and a 165Hz refresh rate. It is Crystal Guard glass-protected and under the panel is the in-display fingerprint sensor.

Inside is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 octa-core processor, Adreno 825 GPU, 8GB/12GB LPDDR5X RAM, up to 12GB RAM Expansion, 256GB UFS 4.1, and a 9,000mAh battery. 

At the back is the 50MP f/1.8 main camera with the Sony LYTIA-600 CMOS sensor, PDAF and OIS, an 8MP f/2.2 112-degree ultra-wide angle camera and an LED flash. While in front is the 32MP f/2.0 selfie camera with an EIS.

Other features include eSIM, 5G, 4G LTE, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, GLONASS, BDS, Galileo, QZSS, NavIC, stereo speakers, and IR blaster.

Running the show is Android 16-based OxygenOS 16.0.

It will be available in India through the OnePlus India website, OnePlus Store app, Amazon India, and select offline retailers on April 9, 2026, at 12PM.

There is no word yet on international or Philippine availability and pricing.
