ASUS has launched the 2026 ROG Zephyrus Duo (GX651AX), described as the world's first 16-inch dual-screen gaming laptop. 

In terms of appearance, it carries the brand's Slash Lighting design in a Stellar Gray finish and is built around a 320-degree kickstand hinge that allows it to shift between several form factors. 

The laptop's defining feature is its pair of 16-inch, 16:10 touchscreen displays, which together form a 32-inch combined viewing area. Both panels run at a 120Hz refresh rate. 

The main display uses a 3K ROG Nebula HDR OLED panel with 1,100-nit peak brightness, 100% DCI-P3 color coverage, and Dolby Vision HDR support, designed to enhance visual quality for gaming, content creation, and streaming. Both screens carry an anti-glare coating for visibility in varied lighting conditions.

Among its highlights is the ASUS ScreenXpert software, which enables switching between Laptop Mode for standard productivity, Dual-Screen Mode for an expanded workspace, and Book Mode for added vertical screen space, while Tent Mode and Sharing Mode are aimed at collaborative use and content sharing.

Inside, the Zephyrus Duo pairs an Intel Core Ultra 9 386H processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU with up to 150W TGP, backed by up to 64GB of LPDDR5X memory and 2TB of SSD storage.

The keyboard

For its battery, the laptop uses a large 90WHr capacity paired with a USB-C 100W charger.

Meanwhile, it also comes with a detachable ultra-thin wireless keyboard with 5.1mm thickness, 1.7mm travel distance, and a key cap gap and a large touchpad for precise mouse control.

The Zephyrus Duo (2026) also has the ROG Intelligent Cooling, comprising liquid metal on the CPU, a custom vapor chamber, redesigned dual fans, and graphite nano-insulated film between the motherboard and display panel.

For I/O, it has 2x USB-A 3.2 Gen2, 2x USB-C with TB4/DP2.1/PD3.0, 1x HDMI 2.1 FRL, DC-In Jack, audio combo jack, and SD Card Read UHS-II.

Wireless connectivity features, such as WiFi 7, improved the Metal Cavity Antenna for a wider range and better speed and latency.

Finally, it runs on Windows 11 Home or Pro versions.
