Epson Philippines Corporation has gathered its media partners for the 17th edition of its Fusion with the theme ECOPRINT.

According to the company, this year's theme reflects a simple but powerful belief that real impact is built over time through everyday decisions, consistent practices, and strong partnerships.

During Brand Talk on Day 1 of Fusion 17, Epson executives shared how sustainability is embedded across the company's strategies and operations, including its long-term direction under the Engineered Future 2035 vision.

The company also highlighted its Heat-Free technology and energy-efficient printing solutions, which help businesses manage operating costs while reducing power consumption and resource use.

The discussion further showcased how these principles are applied within Epson’s own operations. Through initiatives such as waste segregation, recycling programs, and its employee-led Trash to Treasure campaign, the company continues to promote responsible waste management in the workplace.

In FY 2025, Epson Philippines said it collected more than 1,100 kilograms of plastic waste and over 1,100 kilograms of shredded paper for recycling and upcycling efforts.

The company also works with partners and communities to support environmental initiatives. Among the projects featured during Fusion was Epson's partnership with WWF-Philippines in Pio Duran, Albay, which aims to strengthen local waste management through improved waste collection, plastic recycling, and community capacity-building programs.

The company also highlighted its Corporate Waste Collection Program, first piloted in Davao and later expanded to Cebu, helping channel partners properly collect, dispose of, and recycle used consumables and other waste materials.

Complementing the discussions, media partners took part in Conquer the Elements: The Samal Challenge, an interactive island-wide activity.

Through conversations and shared experiences across Samal Island, Fusion 17 reflected the intent behind the ECOPRINT theme, showing sustainability and innovation as an ongoing practice shaped by everyday decisions, collaboration, and consistency.
