Covering employees at Home Credit's National Capital Region offices, the workshops were facilitated by financial advocates Fitz Villafuerte and Kimmy Batallones (popularly known as Your Adulting Companion). This initiative also coincides with the celebration of International Women’s Month, highlighting the company’s commitment to recognizing the role of women as pillars of household financial management.
We believe that financial wellness should start at home. That is why at Home Credit, we make it a priority to equip our employees with the financial confidence they need to build a workforce that can make sound decisions beyond the workplace, said Barbara Mecua, Home Credit Chief People Officer.
Employees shared their takeaways after the workshop. Rea Sumbe, Jr., Complaints Specialist, said, "Gusto ko nang mag-set ng goal kasi ayun pala ‘yung pinaka-importante."
Similarly, April Vallejo, CRM Complaints Specialist, emphasized the importance of growth:
Hindi mo alam kung ano ‘yung kaya mong gawin kapag hindi mo tinake 'yung challenge sa next level.
