Logitech G has announced the expansion of its modular Racing Series lineup with the introduction of the RS50 Direct Drive Wheelbase, RS Pedals, and the RS H-Shifter. Unveiled originally at Logitech G PLAY 2025, the new peripherals are designed to offer multi-platform compatibility across PC, PlayStation, and Xbox setups.

RS50 base

The core of the new hardware lineup is the RS50 Base, which features a direct-drive motor delivering up to 8Nm of peak torque. The wheelbase incorporates Logitech's TRUEFORCE technology, processing real-time game telemetry, such as road textures and tire slippage, internally at up to 4,000 updates per second to generate haptic forces. Additionally, the base utilizes a durable slip-ring design, allowing up to 2700 degrees of steering rotation.

Completing the new manual control options is the RS H-Shifter, a heavy-duty 7-speed (+ Reverse) manual gearbox constructed from aluminum, steel, and high-strength plastic.

It features Hall Effect contactless sensors to eliminate mechanical wear over time, alongside a push-through lockout mechanism to prevent accidental shifts into reverse or 7th gear. The shifter offers M8 threading for aftermarket gear knob customization and includes hardware for both desk clamping and rig mounting.

Logitech G has highlighted a design focus on serviceability and environmental impact for the RS50 system. The RS50 Wheelbase is engineered for a high lifecycle, featuring a modular slip ring designed for easy replacement with readily available parts in the event of component failure. In terms of manufacturing materials, the RS50 Base is constructed using low-carbon aluminum and 74% post-consumer recycled plastic, excluding its internal wiring and retail packaging.

RS Pedals

The accompanying RS Pedals provide a modular foot-pedal system featuring:

• A 75kg Load Cell Brake Pedal: Measures braking pressure instead of physical distance to replicate real-world braking dynamics.
• Hall Effect Accelerator: Utilizes contactless magnetic sensors for smooth and consistent throttle application.
• Adjustable Ergonomics: Includes adjustable pedal lengths, desk/rig extenders, carpet grippers, and the ability to function as wall bracers.
• Customization: Features adjustable resistance via damper and spacer combinations, alongside an optional clutch module sold separately. Force settings can be personalized through the G HUB software, the RS50/PRO OLED screens, or a console Racing Adapter dial.
