One day ahead of its June 12 availability, HUAWEI Mobile Philippines today announced that the new nova 15 Max with a massive battery is now available in the country.

The new HUAWEI nova 15 Max is now available online and at HUAWEI Experience Stores nationwide with a limited-time price of just PHP 19,888 (from PHP 20,888 SRP).

The phone also comes with freebies like a 2-Year Battery Replacement service (worth PHP 2,999) and two stainless thermos tumblers (worth PHP 1,499). 

Moreover, it has an early bird discount of PHP 1,000 plus PHP 300 in vouchers on Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop.

Through the HUAWEI Online Store, interested customers may get PHP 2,000 worth of vouchers.

The promo will run until July 31, 2026.

Meet HUAWEI nova 15 Max

To recap, the new HUAWEI nova 15 Max arrived in a premium-looking Mate-inspired design with a flat back panel with a circular hump available in Blush Gold, Golden Black, and Lake Cyan colors.

For durability, the phone has SGS-certified drop resistance and an IP65 dust and water resistance rating. HUAWEI claims that it can even handle extreme temperatures as cold as -20 degress C or as hot as 60 degrees C.

The display

Up front, the phone features a 6.84-inch LTPS OLED screen w/ 120Hz refresh rate, 300Hz touch sampling rate, 2160Hz PWM dimming, FHD+ resolution at 2756 x 1272 at 444 ppi, and a wide P3 color gamut.

Inside, the phone has an unspecified Kirin octa-core processor, 8GB RAM, 256GB internal storage, and a massive 8,500mAh battery capacity with  "Energy Booster" technology, with smart energy to ensure stable output and a longer-lasting experience with a 98% battery capacity release rate.

The company claims that it can do 48 hours of continuous calling, 27 hours of local video playback, and 25 hours of map navigation. It can be charged via USB-C with its 40W power brick.

HUAWEI also added symmetrical stereo speakers with up to 85dB loudness and a 90-degree ultra-wide sound field, as well as an X Button for shortcuts to utilities like Flashlight, Calculator, Camera, and many more, as well as a side-mounted fingerprint reader for security.

In the camera department, it has a high-end-like 50MP f/1.9 Ultra Sensing Camera w/ QPD full-pixel autofocus and a 2MP f/2.4 + LED flash.

The phone runs on an Android modified EMUI 14.2 skin with AppGallery.
