Following its official introduction in Bangkok, Thailand, HUAWEI Mobile Philippines today announced that the WATCH KIDS X1 is coming.

To recap, the HUAWEI WATCH KIDS X1 is designed to give children a safe, connected, and creative way to explore independently while giving parents peace of mind.

The main features are that it has a 13MP rear camera, allowing kids to capture everyday moments, and a 5MP 110-degree ultra-wide front camera that kids can use to do video calls and take selfies via MeeTime. Users can even flip and 360-degree rotate it.

This was made possible by its 1.82‑inch horizontal AMOLED screen and a 13.4mm profile.

Kids can use this to do HD video calls enhanced by AI noise cancellation. It also supports global 2G/3G/4G connectivity for cross‑border contact.

This is supported by 32GB of storage and One‑Tap Photo Sharing.

Moreover, it has IPX8/X9 water resistance (2 ATM), making the WATCH Kids X1 both resilient and versatile for everyday adventures.

Kids may personalize their experience with 40 official watch faces, over 100 stickers, filters, and styles.

Colors available are Breezy Blue and Candy Pink, which are available with a silicon rubber strap (115 to 190mm).

The watch features  GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, and dual‑band GNSS/WiFi for precise real‑time location updates via the FamCare app.

Basically, parents can set safe and danger zones with instant alerts, while the School Guard feature provides notifications when children arrive at or leave school.

It has FamCare app controls for chats, usage time, and battery monitoring, nighttime restrictions, unknown caller rejection, and a distraction‑free Class Mode.
