OnePlus Pad 3 Pro launched: Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, 13.2-inch LCD, and 13,380mAh battery

OnePlus recently introduced the Pad 3 Pro in China with powerful internals and AI productivity features.

The tablet comes in two color options, Dark Brown and Light Green, and is built around a slim 5.94mm frame that weighs roughly 672 grams.

On the display front, the OnePlus Pad 3 Pro is fitted with a 13.2-inch LCD screen using a 7:5 aspect ratio and a sharp 3392 x 2400 resolution, 30-144Hz adaptive refresh rate, while brightness can climb as high as 1,000 nits and has a very high color rating covering 98 percent of the DCI-P3 gamut.

Powering the device is a 4.6GHz 3nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 octa-core chip with Adreno GPU. OnePlus has paired it with as much as 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage, giving the tablet plenty of headroom for demanding tasks.

It uses a 13,380mAh battery paired with 67W USB-C fast charging support.

When it comes to imaging, the Pad 3 Pro keeps things modest, with a 13MP rear camera for photos and an 8MP front camera suited for video calls.

Rounding out the package are several additional touches, including eight onboard speakers, dual microphones, face unlock, and support for stylus input, all aimed at making the tablet useful for both work and entertainment.

In terms of connectivity, the device supports WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and USB 3.2 Gen 1, ensuring fast data transfer and stable wireless performance.

Software-wise, the OnePlus Pad 3 Pro runs on ColorOS 16, which brings a set of productivity-oriented features tailored for work and multitasking. 

These include a PC-style version of WPS Office, built-in file management tools, and cross-device functionality like screen sharing and keyboard-mouse sharing between devices. The software also integrates several AI-driven tools designed to assist with note-taking, real-time translation, and content creation.

It is currently available in China. Meanwhile, the OnePlus Pad 3 Pro shares a lot of similarities with the OnePlus Pad 4 that debuted in India last month, although it came with different colors.
