HONOR X6e announced: 7,500mAh battery, drop resistance, 50MP AI camera

HONOR launched the X6e, a new budget-friendly smartphone packing a massive battery capacity and a durable build.

HONOR X6e is now official!

The phone arrived in a boxy-looking body available in Sunrise Gold and Midnight Black, measuring just 163.9 x 75.9 x 8.29 mm and weighing 207 grams.

Key highlights of HONOR X6e

With SGS 5‑Star Premium Performance Certification for drop & crush resistance, the handset has been tested to survive up to 1.8 meters of drop resistance on a marble floor under lab conditions. Moreover, it has an IP64 dust- and water-splash resistance rating. 

In front, the phone has a 6.61-inch TFT LCD screen w/ 120Hz refresh rate and HD+ 1604 x 720 resolution. HONOR said that it has up to 1,010 nits of peak brightness and HONOR Eye Comfort Display with dynamic dimming for reduced eye strain.

For specs, the device is powered by the 12nm MediaTek Helio G81 Ultimate octa-core processor with Mali G52 GPU, 4GB RAM (plus an extra of up to 4GB RAM Turbo), 128GB internal storage, and 7,500mAh battery capacity (up to 2 days battery life) with USB-C 45W fast charging.

HONOR said that its battery is also durable, with 6 years of retention before reaching up to 80% health.

For cameras, it has a 50MP f/1.8 AI Ultra-Clear camera paired with an auxiliary sensor and LED flash. In front, a 5MP f/2.2 shooter.

Other features include a fingerprint sensor, up to 300% volume speaker, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and dual SIM slots.

The phone runs on the Android 16 operating system with MagicOS 10.0 skin.
