Filipino-owned convenience store chain Uncle John's just launched its new "Premium Toppers," with taste and quality approved by "MasarapBa," the "Pambansang Dila."

The new Premium Toppers are available in 4 variants:
- Beef Pares - 291 Kcal
- Pinoy Meatballs - 308 Kcal
- Chicken Caldereta - 273 Kcal
- Chicken Aloha - 330 Kcal
Uncle John's and MasarapBa claimed that meals are made with 100% pork, chicken, or beef with no extenders.

The menu promises to deliver quality, convenient, and value-for-money meals that cater to the evolving preferences of Filipino consumers.

My favorites include Beef Pares with the right amount of savory-sweet combination, very tender beef with good balance of meat and fat, and the star anise flavor, as well as the Pinoy Meatballs, which also surprised my palate with a sweet and sour barbeque-like sauce with good balance of flavors.
The rest of the menu features Chicken Caldereta and Chicken Aloha. These are comforting, home‑style dishes that bring a familiar, hearty taste to the table.
