Samsung Galaxy S7 / S7 Edge Now Official! Things You Need To Know Plus Price In The Philippines!
Earlier at the MWC 2016 in Barcelona Spain, Samsung, the electronics giant finally unveiled their latest set of flagships handsets. Following their new tradition that started last year, not one but two flagships were revealed, the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 Edge.

The major improvements
Camera: The new Galaxy S7 series now rocks the new "Dual Pixel" technology with its 12 MP camera which is popularized by the Canon 70D with an amazing focus feature at 0.02 seconds. Aside from that, the new flagships by Samsung boast the largest aperture found in a camera beating LG's f/1.8 lens for better low light performance. Lastly, all of those are paired with an OIS tech to ensure you won't take shaky videos.
Micro SD card slot: Yes, it may not be that much of an issue for most, but this is a come-backing feature that most of guys who want a huge storage will appreciate. There's a catch though, it will be a hybrid type so its either you give up your other SIM slot for the micro SD card or not.
Resistance: IP68 resistance. It's water and dust resistant which is a feature that we love with the Galaxy S5, but was missed with the Galaxy S6 / S6 Edge line.
Others: Samsung ensured that the Galaxy S7 now has bigger battery life, faster wireless charging, more RAM at 4 GB and a more powerful SoC.

In a recent post by Abe of Yugatech, he stated that the Galaxy S7 with 32 GB will be priced at 34,990 and the Galaxy S7 Edge with 32 GB at 39,990 Pesos. Both devices will be available in black / gold colors and launched here in the Philippines this March 19, 2016 and will be on pre order starting March 4.
