Samsung nailed it! Earlier, they just posted in their new room that the Samsung EVO Plus micro SD card with 256 GB is now official. That makes it the largest capacity micro SD card slot in the world in its class that rivals even big HDD's of the past with its HUGE 256 GB memory.

It's designed to deliver fast speed, expandable memory storage that can be used for smartphones, tablets, high end DAPs, cameras and etc. With this consumer can now record up to 12 hours of 4K UHD videos or 33 hours of FHD videos using your favorite cameras.
The Samsung EVO Plus 256 GB also uses an advanced V-NAND technology that offers high read and write speeds of up to 95 MB/s and 90 MB/s respectively. That makes it great for high resolution photography, handling heavy graphics like VR and high fidelity music.
“With the upward trend of consumers using high-performance, high-capacity mobile devices, our new, V-NAND-based 256GB microSD card solution allows us to deliver the memory card consumers have been craving,” said Un-Soo Kim, Senior Vice President of Brand Product Marketing, Memory Business at Samsung Electronics. “Our EVO Plus 256GB microSD card, will provide consumers with large capacity, and high read and write speeds. We are excited to offer our customers convenient and seamless multimedia experiences when they access, store and share all of the content they create and capture.”
It also goes with an advanced protection like waterproofing, temperature proof, x-ray proof and magnetic proof for long term reliability. The Samsung Evo Plus 256 GB goes with a limited 10 year warranty in more than 50 countries that includes USA, Europe, China and other regions.
It will be available this starting this June of 2016 with an SRP of just USD 249.99 which is roughly around 11.6K in Philippine Pesos without tax and duties yet.
