Huawei P10 Plus: First Camera Samples

Like what we mentioned before, the Huawei P10 Plus is the first smartphone to boast 3 Leica cameras, two behind and one in front for selfies.

This flagship-grade handset is equipped with Leica Dual Camera 2.0 Pro Edition sensors behind and a single Leica sensor in front. To be more specific, its the 20 MP f/1.8 monochrome sensor + 12 MP f/1.8 RGB sensor w/ 4-in-1 Hybrid AF, OIS, 2x zoom, and dual tone LED flash at the back and the 8 MP f/1.9 aperture w/ wide angle lens, AF, and screen flash.

Coming from the already great camera software of Mate 9, it now has bokeh feature even in monochrome mode, portrait mode for natural bokeh in front and at the back, and adaptive selfie mode w/ auto wide angle.

Our first camera samples were highly impressive. Coming from the Huawei Mate 9, we noticed improvements in dynamic range, clarity, and color reproduction. Lowlight performance also looks better this time. The new modes like the mono chrome bokeh, portrait, and adaptive selfie are interesting as well.
