ASUS To Update ZenFone 3 Devices With ZenUI 4.0 And Android O!
ZenUI 4.0 is cleaner and meaner

Marcel Campos, Head of Global Content Marketing of ASUS, announced that the entire ZenFone 3 series last year will be upgraded with the revamped and cleaner ZenUI 4.0 and Android O eventually.

Speaking of the ZenUI 4.0, ASUS boasts that it is their lightest Android UI skin yet. It has notable increase in overall performance using popular apps and will finally get rid of unnecessary bloatwares.

In particular, the company has lessen the 35 pre-installed apps on ZenUI 4.0 to just 13 apps.

ASUS will also improve the UI for intuitive operation and will have new features like Twin Apps (two social media accounts on one device), Page Marker (bookmark app), and more.

On the other hand, Android O will have picture-in-picture mode, unread notification app badges, better Bluetooth audio support and adaptive icons.

ZenUI 4.0 might roll out soon first after the release of ZenFone 4 series. Android O will be gradually released on all supported devices by Q2 of 2018.
