A new leak/rumor from Japan suggests that the upcoming Sony Xperia XZ3 could be a very exciting photography-centric smartphone.

It could feature the newly announced Sony IMX586 camera with whopping 48MP sensor. It is a multilayered CMOS (Quad Bayer color filter array) that works like the 40MP snapper found on the Huawei P20 Pro.

But, it won't have multiple cameras like the triple camera setup of the P20 Pro and other smartphones such as the Galaxy S9+ with dual cameras.
A leaked screenshot from GFXBench also revealed that it will have an H8416 model number, 18:9 FHD+ screen, Snapdragon 845 octa-core processor, Adreno 630 GPU, 6GB RAM, 64GB storage, and Android 8.0 Oreo operating system.
According to GFXBench it will feature a 47MP sensor. Most likely, it is the same 48MP IMX586 that was stated in the rumors from Reddit.
The Xperia XZ3 or XZ2s is expected to launch at the IFA this September in Berlin.
