The Snapdragon 670 boasts the exact cores found on the Snapdragon 710. It has a 2 big cores and 6 power efficient cores. The big Kyro 360 cores are based on the Cortex-A75 architecture while the small ones has Cortex-A55's specs.
Better than SD660

The big cores are just downclocked to 2.0GHz. The small cores runs at 1.7GHz.

According to Qualcomm, users of the same chipset can expect up to 25 percent better performance coming from the 660.

On the AI part, it has the 3rd gen AI Engine with promising up to 1.8x better AI performance.

It is still based using the 10 nm process.

What's new is its GPU. The Snapdragon 670 loads with the new Adreno 615 GPU. The features and specs of this one are unknown for now, but we can expect it to be better than Adreno 512.

It also has the Spectra 250 ISP with support to up to 25MP single cam or 16MP dual cam setups. However, it doesn't have HDR video recording anymore. It has no support for QHD+ screens versus the SD710 as well.

Anyway, on the connectivity part, the SD670 still has the Snapdragon X12 LTE modem.

This new SoC of Qualcomm is now available commercially. We just don't know yet who will get it first.
