Just like its wholly owned platform Instagram where users can opt to remove messages from both ends, we might be seeing Messenger "unsend" feature soon.

This was after the news surfaced online regarding Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg's messages that got deleted from recipients' inboxes.

According to tipster Jane Machun Wong, Facebook Messenger has already begun its work to make the "Unsend Message" available for everyone.

Facebook users will only be allowed to unsend their messages after a certain amount of time.

TechCrunch supported this, noting Facebook said Messenger has been undergoing internal tests to ensure the quality of the new feature.

Currently, Facebook is allowing users to delete messages from their inbox, but they cannot be removed from the receivers' account.

No more "wrong send" in the future, right? Exciting times for Facebook Messenger!

Are you guys excited for this new feature? Will you be trying it out as soon as it arrives?
