In the local launch of Nokia 5.1 Plus earlier today, Mead has shared with us that the 6.1 which was launched months ago the latest Android operating system. The Android 9.0 Pie has a new navigation system, screen-time controls, battery optimization, and privacy tweaks. According to Google, the Artificial Intelligence (AI) plays a big role on this new operating system. 

The familiar lineup of three navigation icons at the bottom of the phone is now changed to a single, pill-shaped icon in the bottom center of the screen. The permanent back button is now gone.

Android Pie has now also the feature called "Adaptive Battery". This works as a machine-learning material to ever-draining power cells. It studies the way you use your phone, the common apps you use, and optimizes your battery to adapt to your usage.

In case you missed it, Nokia 6.1 features 5.5-inch FHD IPS screen, 2.2GHz 64-bit Snapdragon 630 octa-core processor, 3 or 4GB RAM, 32 or 64GB expandable storage, and 3,000mAh battery w/ fast charging support.

It also has a 16MP PDAF main camera, 8MP f/2.0 selfie camera, 4G LTE Cat 4 connectivity, Android 8.0 Oreo OS, and dual SIM slots.
