Xiaomi teases the Redmi Note 6 Pro, to launch in the Philippines soon!

Xiaomi just teased a new smartphone that will arrive in the Philippine shores soon. From the looks of it, it is the Redmi Note 6 Pro.

The Redmi Note 6 Pro is the refreshed version of the Redmi Note 5. It has a bigger display with taller 19:9 screen aspect ratio and a quad-camera setup compared with its predecessor.

It highlights the same metal clad body found on the Redmi Note 5, but it now the notched 6.26-inch 2.5D curved Gorilla Glass protected IPS screen with FHD+ 2280 x 1080 resolution at 403 ppi. The Redmi Note 5 only has a 6-inch 18:9 screen.

Inside, it has the same 1.8GHz 64-bit Snapdragon 636 octa-core processor. It would have been better if Xiaomi upgraded it to at least SD660 though. The RAM, ROM, and battery size remained at 3GB/4GB, 32GB/64GB, and 4,000mAh, respectively.

The rear cameras are also the same. You will still find a 12MP f/1.9 + 5MP f/2.0 dual-camera setup with Dual Pixel PDAF and dual-tone LED flash.

What's new? Its AI-assisted 20MP f/2.0 selfie shooter is now paired a 2MP depth camera.
