Android Auto now available in the Philippines!

Filipinos can now access Android Auto, American multinational technology firm Google announced today, November 6.

The app, dubbed as the "smart driving companion" is powered by Google Assistant, allowing users to stay focused, connected, and etertained. 

Android Auto enables users to use favorite apps installed in their smartphones as this is equipped with simplified interface, large buttons, and powerful voice. 

Other apps that can be used via the Android Auto include Google Maps, Waze, Spotify, Skype, Android Messages, WhatsApp, Telegram, WeChat, to name a few.

Google Philippines noted you may use this using a smartphone or they may also opt to connect it to their car screen. 

"Google worked with top car manufacturers and industry experts to ensure that Android Auto is optimized for easier and safer driving experience," the firm said. 

Smartphones running on Android versions Lollipop, Marshmallow, Nougat, Oreo and Pie, can download Android Auto in Google Play Store. 

It is compatible with more than 500 car models in over 30 countries.
