Breaking: Vivo Y95 with 6.22-inch halo screen with 4,030mAh battery and launched in the Philippines

Vivo just released its newest smartphone in the Philippines, the Y95. It's a mid-ranger with big screen, big battery, and AI cameras.

The highlights

The Vivo Y95 highlights a glossy gradient back cover with starry black and aurora red color options. In front, it boasts a 6.22-inch HD+ 1520 x 720 Halo FullView display with tiny notch with 88.6 percent screen-to-body ratio.

Inside, it is the one of the first with the new 12nm Snapdragon 439 SoC clocked at 1.9GHz with Adreno 505 GPU just like the Vivo Y93. It is coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB expandable storage.

It also boasts a large 4,030mAh battery for an entire day of use on a single charge.

Cameras

The Y95 also has capable cameras. It has a "super-clear" dual-camera setup. It features a 13MP primary shooter paired with a 2MP secondary sensor at the back with depth effect and AI that can identify and optimize up to 140 different scenes.

For selfies, you will find a massive 20MP sensor with AI. As usual. it has an intelligent algorithm that can detect your age, gender, skin tone, skin texture, and lighting environment.

It also has AR technology to let you use a lot of unique looking stickers on your selfies.

Other features

The Y95 also goes with face unlock, fingerprint scanner at the back, WiFi, 4G LTE, Bluetooth, OTG, GM Radio, GPS, GLONASS, BeiDuo and dual SIM slots.

The sensors included are accelerometer, light, proximity, and compass.

This phone also runs with Android 8.1 Oreo OS with Funtouch OS 4.5 skin. It also has the Jovi Smart Scene assistant.

The Vivo Y95 is priced at PHP 13,999 in the Philippines. It is now available in all Vivo stores and kiosks nationwide.
