Good score

At AnTuTu the Helio P90 got a score of 162,861 using an unknown device with 6GB RAM, 128GB storage, and Android 9 OS. The usual score of the 11nm Snapdragon 670 is around 150K. On the other hand, the average score of the 10nm Snapdragon 710 is around 168K.

In case you missed it, the Helio P90 is a 12nm chip with 2 Cortex-A75 large cores with 2.2GHz clock speed and 6 low power Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0GHz. It also features the new IMG PowerVR GM 9446 GPU clocked at 970MHz.

Its GPU is said to be 2x faster than the capable the previous generation Mali-G72 MP3.

But, the Helio P90 could still be the better overall SoC solution due to its heterogeneous architecture which will utilize the CPU, GPU, and APU altogether for better overall performance and optimizations.

It also has the APU 2.0 with 1127 GMACs (2.25TOPs) performance. On the AI benchmark test by by ETH Zurich, it destroyed the 7nm Kirin 980 flagship SoC.

So far, it is an interesting chip. But we have yet to see its performance on an actual retail unit.

What do you guys think?
