Huawei Y7 2019 to feature a halo notch screen and 4,000mAh battery

Huawei could soon launch the Y7 2019, it's the possible budget smartphone of the company next year.

Based on leaks, the Huawei Y7 2019 will feature a 3D glass-like back cover design with a gradient color. On the front, it goes with a big 6.2-inch display with a halo notch and the earpiece on top. The screen comes with an HD+ 1520 x 720 resolution and 19:5:9 screen aspect ratio.

Small notch, thick chin

The top and side chin bezels are slim. However, the chin/bottom bezel is thick enough to house the Huawei branding. It is understandable for a budget phone though.

4,000mAh

Under the hood, it is said to run with the 1.8GHz 64-bit Snpadragon 450 octa-core processor with Adreno 506 GPU. It also has 3GB/4GB RAM, 32GB/64GB expandable storage with microSD, and 4,000mAh battery.

At the back, it will come with a 13MP f/1.8 primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor. It also has AI for scene detection. Hopefully, it will also come with the Super Night Mode feature.

The rear shot of the Huawei Y7 (2019) features a dual camera setup along with LED flash. It will include a 13-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The AI dual camera will offer features like scene detection and using the right camera settings for shooting better shots. For selfies, it goes with a 16MP snapper.

The rest of the missing details are yet to be confirmed.There is no info yet regarding its launch date. It could be priced at around EUR 150 or PHP 9.2K.
