The DiskStation DS1819+ is a compact NAS sporting an expandable design that is an ideal option for small to medium businesses. It is capable of hosting versatile applications. It boasts a 57 percent increase in performance in terms of sequential reading compared to its predecessors. This makes the DS1819+ more than capable of being a file server or a backup target to store and secure business data.

It has an Intel C3535 quad-core processor with clock speeds of 2.1GHz, a pre-installed 4GB of DDR4 RAM that can be maxed to 32GB and a storage that can go up to 216TB raw capacity with expansion units. It has four Gigabit Ethernet ports and one PCIe expansion slot that can support a 10GbE add-on card for bigger data transmission bandwidth. It also supprts M.2 SSD adapter cards.
Transfer speeds can go up to 2,045 MB/s sequential reading and 656 MB/s sequential righting. The DS1819+ runs on DiskStation Manager which an OS made for Synology NAS devices.

The DiskStation DS1819+ is priced at PHP 57,999 and is now available through Synology's local distributors.
