Epson showcased their current line of projectors in Bangkok, Thailand where they also announced their latest and greatest 12,000 lumens super bright 4K native projector!

Highlights of the Epson Regional Projector Showcase in Bangkok!

The event was held in multi-function rooms of the Shangri-La Bangkok where it was split into six divided sections that each portrayed a different application of their projectors. 

Flexible mounting

One example of these scenarios is in the retail space where in the LightScene Projector  that was designed to be mounted on any surface and could be programmed with brand specific content that can be projected on the surface the product was being displayed on. This content could be specifications and price but could be varied even further depending on the concept the brand wants to create.

Interactive Projectors that can be used with multiple site configurations

The second application is in the education sector where in their products could project a presentation with more than 70 inches in size even if the projector isn't too far from the surface it is projecting on. The size of the displayed image could also address the readability issues with traditional blackboards. There are even projectors that are interactive where in it detects gestures with the users hands or with the pen accessories to be able to write on top of the projected presentation. The possibilities are endless.

Two projectors working in conjunction for a better retail experience

The interactivity could even be customized for specific needs like in the Museums where in the Projector detects if a plate was placed at a specific point on the surface of projection and displays unique content that corresponds to the unique plate that was placed on the surface.

Customizable experiences like in museums

Depending on the creativity of the client, it could also be used to create a new form of art that uses the light projected by the projectors in new and exciting ways like in the Mori Digital Art Museum in Tokyo.

Even if the projector is near the surface, it can still project images larger than 70 inches

Also at the event, they announced the super bright 12,000 lumen EB 12000Q with a native 4K resolution that is bright enough to be used outside! It can also 3D map an outside surface and project content onto it. Epson proudly showcased this by projecting content along side an exhilarating Muay Thai and Puppet performance!

So far, we think that Epson has proven that they are the best at what they do.
