Epson's latest line of laser projectors put on a show in a variety of environments during the Regional Laser Projection Showcase at the Siam Museum on January 8, 2019. The event highlights the creative ways projectors can be used to enhance both collaboration and productivity. This also pushes for creative new experiences to keep the work environment fun.

It can be used differently on different settings and situations such as for a designer's workshop, production room, retail showroom and staff lounge, all of which were showcased at the event. It highlights the versatility and innovation of application using the interactive and ultra short throw capabilities of the projectors.

For instance, in a workshop, a fashion designer can easily communicate and receive feedback from the corporate through the Noverio smart glasses and KDDI Augmented Reality Recognition software remotely. The team can give feedback to the designs by putting annotations on an ultra-wide 177-inch interactive panoramic screen via video conference.

In terms of production showroom application, designers can show how their work are printed on a product.  Designers can work on their designs through a customized app on tablets and then view how it looks on the product through projection via the LightScene laser projector before sending it for printing.

Now on a retail showroom, an interactive virtual fitting room can be achieved using an ultra-short throw interactive laser projector that enables customers to try on different clothing designs projected on their image before buying.

Lastly, in the staff lounge showroom, employees will be able to relax at the bar with interactive visual effects delivered by the EB-L610U laser projector that has the ability with downward tilting installation. In addition, staff can also work out on a stationary bike with different scene and landscapes projected in front of them to simulate biking outside.

Projection Mapping on the Museum of Siam

Projection mapping is showcased at the Siam Museum using two unites of Epson's brightest laser projectors which are the EB-L25000U and the ELPU05 lenses. The projection mapping highlights the brilliant visual beauty of Thai culture.
