Will come inside the Galaxy S10 phones?

The announcement comes a few weeks before the launch of the Galaxy S10 series in late February 2019. It suggests that the rumors of a Galaxy S10 device with 1TB storage is accurate.
The speeds

Samsung's new eUFS 2.1 chip highlights 1TB of massive storage and an n improvement in read and write speeds. It has up to 1000MB/s read speeds which is faster than compared to Samsung's other versions. Samsung even said that eUFS features approximately twice the sequential read speed of a typical 2.5-inch SATA solid state drive. 

The chip also has 16 5th-gen 512Gb V-NAND flash memory layers and measures at just 11.5 x 13 mm.

Samsung says mass production of the new storage has begun. Samsung also said that they plan to Samsung plans to expand the production of its fifth-generation 512Gb V-NAND at its Pyeongtaek plant in Korea throughout the first half of 2019 to fully address the anticipated strong demand of the said storage around the world.

It means that we could see a lot of smartphones with 1TB storage in the near future.
