#MWC19: Nokia 9 PureView with 5 ZEISS cameras now official

HMD Global just announced their latest flagship smartphone at an event in the Mobile World Congress 2019 in the form of Nokia 9 PureView.

Nokia 9 PureView with penta rear cameras!

Nokia 9 PureView just confirmed a lot of leaks that have surfaced online before its announcement. The main highlight of this phone is its 12MP penta rear cameras, two RGB, and three monochrome lenses to collect up to 10 times the amount of light than a single color sensor, with ZEISS Optics. 

This smartphone can capture HDR shots using its five cameras simultaneously with up to 12.4 stops of dynamic range and a full scene 12MP depth map. It then fuses it together into one 12MP photo with outstanding dynamic range and depth of field to refocus later.

It can also capture 60MP images in burst mode and can process up to 240 megapixels of data. What's more exciting is that it can capture images in uncompressed RAW “DNG” format! Users can edit them directly on the phone with Adobe Lightroom and Native black-and-white photography.

Five rear cameras!

For the front camera, Nokia 9 PureView sports a whopping 20MP shooter. 

It also features a huge 5.99-inch Quad HD pOLED display with HDR10 support. Nokia 9 PureView is powered by Snapdragon 845 and Adreno 630 GPU along with 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage.

Furthermore, it also comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner, has a water-resistant body with IP67 ratings and packs a 3,320mAh battery with fast charging and Qi wireless charging support.

Price and availability

Nokia 9 PureView's availability in the Philippines is yet to be announced. The suggested price tag in USD is 699 or an estimated PHP 36,375.
