It allows support for displays of up to 4K UHD+ (4096 x 2160) and support for LTE bands of LTE-Advanced Pro Cat.20 8CA 2Gbps (DL) and Cat.20 3CA 316Mbps (UL).

For storage it supports UFS 3.0 and UFS 2.1 (Universal Flash Storage) and LPDDR4X RAM.

From the specifications of the new Processor alone, we can surmise that it is a powerful new beast. How well does it perform in benchmarks though?

Let's find out!

Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus's benchmark scores

1. AnTuTu Benchmark - The S10 Plus scored a whopping 330,878 in total. If we break it down and look closer: it scored 98,106 in CPU tests which beat 84% of other phones, it scored a monstrous 151414 in GPU tests which beat 99% of other phones!

The new Exynos 9820 is a powerful for computations and is even more powerful in GPU or in gaming!

If compared with the Huawei Mate 20 Pro's benchmarks linked here. The Mate 20 Pro got a score of 113,711 in CPU test and 110,807 in GPU tests which means that the Mate 20 Pro is slightly better at computations but lags behind in terms of gaming.

In our iPhone XS review linked here, we can see that the iPhone XS scored 111,493 in CPU tests, 150,378 in GPU tests and 334,319 in total score which effectively makes it slightly better than the S10 Plus by a small margin. Whether or not this will be felt in real world use is still up for debate.

2. Geekbench Benchmark - This benchmark measures the capabilities of both the individual single cores and all the cores in conjunction.

The result of the single core is a monstrous 4,548 which is near the iPhone XS's 4,831 single core score and is far ahead the Mate 20 Pro's 3,375 single core score.

The multi-core score on the other hand is 10,060 which makes it capable in multi-core dependent apps. When compared to the Apple A12, the S10 Plus performs slightly under the iPhone XS' 11,525 multi-core. The Huawei Mate 20 pro is just below at 9,987.

3. PCMark Battery test - PC Mark Battery is on-going as of this writing. We will update this section once the battery test has concluded. You may want to check back as soon as possible!
