OPPO A5s with MediaTek Helio P35 chip leaks!

The A7 might have a sibling with identical design soon. A new leak revealed that OPPO might launch the A5s.

Alleged OPPO A5s official specs

The alleged OPPO A5s features 3D curved glass-like back and a 6.2-inch In-Cell LCD with HD+ 1520 x 720 resolution.

Helio P35 powered A5s

Under the hood, you will find MediaTek's 12nm Helio P35 SoC. It is an octa-core chip with up to 2.3GHz clock speed and PowerVR GE8320 GPU.

A5s is paired with 2/3/4GB RAM, 32/64GB ROM, dedicated microSD card slot, and the same 4,230mAh huge battery capacity found on the A7.

At the back, it comes with a 13MP f/2.2 + 2MP f/2.4 dual-camera setup. The 8MP f/2.0 AI selfie camera is found on the waterdrop notch.

It also comes with face unlock tech, fingerprint scanner at the back, 4G LTE, GPS, and dual nano SIM slots. A5s loads with ColorOS 5.2 based on Android 8.1. Sadly, it is not on Android Pie OS yet.

The handset will come in black and red color options. It measures 155.9 x 75.4 x 8.2 mm and weighs 170 grams.

There's no word on its official date of availability and price tag yet. But, we can expect it to be more affordable than the PHP 13,990 OPPO A7.
