OPPO breaks first-day sales record with F11 Pro

Chinese firm OPPO announced its latest handset F11 Pro was able to break the company's first-day sales record.

OPPO said F11 Pro had the highest number of units sold during its first day in the Philippine market, even defeating its rivals in the same price point. OPPO representatives said that it sold 30 percent more than previous F series phones.

The company said its F series continues to gain traction from Filipino consumers since the launch of F1 in 2016, also noting that the series already has two million users across the country.

OPPO also banked on F series' popularity as data from Canalys said the company secured 24 percent market share in the fourth quarter of 2018.

To further excite shoppers at the launch of F11 Pro at SM Megamall, OPPO also invited its brand ambassadors Ronnie Alonte, Gretchen Ho, Janine Gutierrez, and Kianna Dy. 

The F11 Pro flaunts a glossy gradient back cover, big 6.53-inch screen with FHD+ screen, Helio P70 octa-core processor with dual-core AI clocked at 2.1GHz, Mali-G72 MP3, 6GB RAM, 64GB expandable storage, and 4,000mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 flash charge solution.

OPPO claimed the device provides great portraits given its 48MP f/1.8 CMOS sensor with 5MP f/2.4 lens with PDAF and LED flash.
