Samsung just launched the A2 Core in India, the company's latest Android (Go edition) smartphone.

Samsung Galaxy A2 Core is the successor of the Galaxy J2 Core. It features a 5-inch TFT display with qHD 960 x 540 resolution. Inside, it is powered by the 1.6GHz Exynos 7879 octa-core processor paired with Mali-T830 MP1 GPU.

It also has 1GB RAM, 16GB expandable storage to 256GB via microSD, and 2,600mAh battery capacity. The phone also comes with a 5MP f/1.9 main camera with LED flash, 5MP f/2.2 selfie camera, WiFi b/g/n, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.2 LTE, GPS, and dual SIM slots.

As expected, it loads with Android 9.0 Pie (Go edition) with lightweight Go apps.

Samsung Galaxy A2 Core is available in black and white colors for Rs. 5,290 or around PHP 4K.

There's no word when will it go official in PH yet.
