OnePlus 7 Pro will be one of the first phones with UFS 3.0 tech
It's no secret that the next OnePlus phone will be dubbed as the OnePlus 7 Pro and it will go official on May 14.
OnePlus also started teasing that it will be one of the fastest phones in the world. Why? It will surely run with the latest 7nm Snapdragon 855 octa-core chipset and it will be paired, 6 to 12GB of RAM, and OnePlus's revamped Oxygen OS skin.
But aside from that, one of the reasons why it could standout versus the competition is the use of UFS 3.0 technology for super fast read and write speeds.
UFS 3.0 storage is designed to almost double data bandwidth while consuming lesser power. Basically, it is better and faster than the current UFS 2.1 storage from most flagship phones today.
The only other phone with this type of storage solution is the delayed Samsung Galaxy Fold.
Aside from the storage, OnePlus also confirmed that the OnePlus 7 Pro will come with an notchless A+ rated screen from DisplayMate, pop-up selfie camera, and a triple-camera setup.
